Karen is an Independent Midwife dually registered to practice in Spain and the U.K. registered with the Colegio de Enfermeria, Málaga and the Nursing Midwifery Council London.

Having practiced as a midwife for over 15 years Karen has held senior positions in the U.K. and her philosophy is based on pregnancy and birth as a normal physiological process. Karen has a role to provide safe and effective care for mothers and babies and this is achieved by working on evidence based guidelines.

Karen actively promotes home birth and water birth to women who are healthy and have a normal pregnancy.

Karen lives in Nerja and can provide midwifery services to couples living within an hours traveling distance from Nerja.
