WHAT IF SOMETHING GO'S WRONG?
- All community midwives are highly trained and skilled to deal with any emergency situation that may arise in the home.
- Midwives carry all resuscitation equipment and drugs for the mother and the newborn.
- The probability of needing transfer to Hospital is very low, if however a problem arises the mother will be transferred to the nearest public Hospital and directly to the labour ward.

Homebirth is an option for the majority of women who are in good health and have normal pregnancies, free from complication.

- Not to be separated from their children.

Numerous research including trials on Hospital versus Homebirth continuously show that homebirth is SAFE, if not safer than hospital birth in healthy women.
